Whether portraits, landscapes, nature, or still life paintings, I research multiple photos and background stories to gain a painting perspective to capture a subject’s essence. My oil paintings have multiple translucent layers to bring out depth and dimensionality. In addition, they are painted on a fine grade canvas and coated with a varnish for UV protection; and the completed work can be in the family for generations.”
