“ How do I create a PaintParty?”
PaintParty Experience serves Riverside, San Bernardino, and Orange Counties. There is a minimum of 6 participants and maximum of 30 participants for a PaintParty. To create a party, go to the Create-a-Party tab and follow the form and enter the paint party details and scroll to the bottom and there are sample images from which to select. You can have your participants sign-up on our website, pay cash at the party, or you can pay for the whole group in advance.”
“As a Paint Party participant, how do I sign-up for our PaintParty event?”
Rosemary Vasquez Tuthill, “Your host will send you the sign-up link, or on the PaintParty website Sign-Up For Your Party Tab, select your group’s party and click on the image. “How long is the painting class?”
Rosemary Vasquez Tuthill, “Generally, we will need 2 1/2 - 3 hours to complete our paintings from start to finish. Plan on the full 3 hours to receive all your valuable instruction and to allow adequate time for your painting to dry.”
“Do I need to bring anything with me?”
Rosemary Vasquez Tuthill, “No, but wear clothes that are comfortable and understand that you may get paint on them - so dress accordingly. You can bring your own apron should you choose”
“Can I request a painting or send an image I would like to paint?”
Rosemary Vasquez Tuthill, “We are always on the lookout for new and interesting images. We pre-plan our Paint and Party Experience and select paintings that are easy to do in a 2 1/2 to 3 hour period. We will look at your image and determine if it would work for the general participant skill level, time frame for the event, and copyright considerations.
What are the steps for a successful Party?”
1. Plan your party 2 – 3 weeks in advance so your participants can save the date.
2. Select your party location – whether a house, office, or other location or indoor or outdoor – make sure that there is adequate space, parking, and lighting.
3. You can select an image from our on-line Paint and Party Experience catalog “Gallery” or suggest one of your own which Rosemary will simplify to match the skill level of your participants.
4. Let your group know that Rosemary will pre-sketch or have stencils - depending on the image - for the 16” x 20” canvases; and she will walk everyone through the process step-by-step.
5. As host(ess), you need to assure that your participants have sufficient room to sit and paint and have Adequate Lighting. As an example, a standard 6’ table can accommodate four people with two on each side. Be sure that there is ample space for Rosemary to walk in between tables to help and distribute the paints. You can provide whatever food or drinks you wish – it is a party after all!
6. We will create a sign-up link on our PaintParty website for your participants to pay in advance by credit card; and We will update you with the names of participants that signed up for the event.
7. We will arrive at least 30 minutes prior to the event to set-up. Plan 2 1/2to 3 hours for our portion of the event. You can assure your participants that no painting experience is needed.
